Physiotas offers a thorough two-year graduate program designed to assist individuals at the start of their careers. The Graduate Program is tailored to provide you with structured training and foster your professional growth. Throughout the program, you will receive consistent mentoring and training from senior staff members and their respective fields of expertise. This accelerated development pathway will provide you with all the guidance and training you will need to become an effective and confident clinician.
Physiotas has been serving the local community for over 25 years, with seven clinics across Northern Tasmania. Our practice collaborates with local hospitals, doctors, workplaces, aged care facilities, insurance companies and private health funds.
Physiotas have a large but supportive team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, myotherapists and remedial massage therapists who work together to make sure each staff member achieves their full potential and provides the best possible care for their patients.
Physiotas take great pride in their extensive new graduate program and are widely known for their enthusiastic support of ongoing professional development for their staff. They provide regular in-house training by way of both internal and external presenters.

You may be eligible for the Health Workforce Scholarship Program through HR+ (up to the value of $10,000 per year over 2 years) to allow you to access additional professional development.
Physiotas provide reimbursement for professional registration, insurance, and professional body membership as well as extra funding for external professional development and study leave. There are monthly staff meetings, scheduled mentoring sessions and they don’t mind the odd social event!
