Some of the the best Australian GP jobs, nursing vacancies & allied health positions are right here in Tasmania.

What makes us different? Here are a few things you should know about HR+ and our Medical Recruitment Services.

We’re a small dedicated team who enjoy working together to get the best outcomes around recruitment and retention of general practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals in Tasmania. We offer additional services to medical, nursing and allied health students.  We also have a program devoted to assisting NDIS participants in Tasmania with financial intermediary services, plan management, and support coordination,  as well as human resources support.

Because we’re government funded, our services do not attract recruitment and placement fees.

This is one of the main differences you will find between HR+ & other medical recruitment agencies.

It’s important for us to get to know you, whether you’re the candidate or a practice wishing to employ a health professional. If we don’t have the answers to your questions we will certainly help you find them.

We like to have fun in our workplace, and we try to carry that through in the work we do (check out our lovely faces on the 'Meet the team' page).

And it won’t be the last of us you see once you start your new job. We stay in touch while you settle in and become established in your new job and community. We have a range of professional development (CPD) and networking opportunities available to you. Whether you are recruiting new medical/health staff,  or are hoping to be recruited to a medical or health position, please contact us - for all your Tasmanian GP recruitment,  nursing and allied health recruitment, needs.

"HR+ has been a fantastic supporter for Rustica. Rustica is a student run club that aims to promote rural health careers to Tasmanian University students undertaking health science degrees. Our partnership with HR+ enables better outreach and activities for Tasmanian students. We have worked together the last few years to put together events for students to give them the opportunity to experience and learn about the rewards of rural practice.

HR+ has made it possible to promote rural health careers through GP taster weekends, lecture series and ongoing advice and assistance when running our major events.

With the support of HR+ we hope for a stronger and passionate future health workforce."
