The Position

Burnie General Practice (Independent Practitioners Network) is looking for either a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to work in their practice. This position will be offered on a full time or part time basis, Monday to Friday.

In this role you will deliver quality clinical nursing services to doctors and patients including chronic disease management, triage, vaccinations, wound care, pathology collection, health assessments, recall, coordination of the treatment room, cold chain management and sterilisation.

To be eligible for this position, you will need to possess the following.

  • Previous experience working in general practice.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • A caring and collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Chronic Disease Management and pathology collection experience (preferred.)
  • AHPRA registration & able to use Medical Software.
