Start Smart Tasmania is a speech pathology and education provider that have an office space to share with a like-minded professional or organisation in Scottsdale, Tasmania.

The Position

Room for Hire
Start Smart Tasmania is in the heart of the Scottsdale. The location is easy to find with ample nearby parking. It is a lovely space with lots of natural light. The street facing window has been frosted for client privacy.

Located at 16A King Street, the premises includes a therapy room approx. 9x3m, office/ kitchen space approx. 3x3m and shared bathroom facilities at the rear. The therapy room has a table and chairs at one end and open area at the other. There is a wide corridor from the entrance that serves as a waiting room.

Start Smart Tasmania are eager to share their space and are offering a reduced rate of hire for those who wish to secure the space long term. If a provider is interested in committing to a 12-month arrangement, the cost is $80 per day for that period. If a provider would prefer casual use, the cost is $120 per day. The price includes all utilities, tea/coffee facilities and cleaning.

The Organisation

Start Smart Tasmania offer a range of speech pathology and education services to the Launceston community and surrounds, including their recently opened office in Scottsdale.

Their speech pathology department provides speech and language support, orofacial myology, a feeding clinic, mentoring for newly-qualified speech pathologists, and a range of courses and workshops for parents and professionals.

Their education department offers inclusion support, including learning plan development, programming recommendations, literacy and maths intervention for students, comprehensive literacy assessments of students, and a range of professional learning workshops for schools.
