We have an opportunity for a psychologist to join a leading allied health practice and medical centre in a suburb located in one of Australia’s most liveable regional cities, Launceston!

The Position

Prospect Allied Health, in conjunction with Prospect Medical Centre are seeking a motivated and experienced psychologist that would like to step into an existing patient load. This is your opportunity to be your own boss, but with the support of an experienced administration and management team. Working with a 10 Doctor GP practice there is also room to grow your patient base through referrals.

Prospect Allied Health is also home to a number of other nursing and allied health professionals you will have the benefits of being part of a broader team.

This position will suit a psychologist that would like to choose their own hours, work with a varied caseload and that doesn’t want to worry about anything except patient care. A team of 13 experienced receptionists are on hand to help with patient bookings and billings.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Medicare provider number
  • ABN

The Organisation

Prospect Medical Centre is a long established, AGPAL accredited practice that has a strong reputation within the local community of providing high-quality health care services.

The practice has on-site pathology and allied health services including, another psychologist, mental health nurses, dietitian, diabetes nurse educator and social work counsellor.
