Comprehensive Functional Analysis of Complex Presentations of Developmental Trauma
Two of their senior psychologists with a special interest in developmental trauma are specialist behaviour support practitioners, however, they are very very busy with therapy work and need a BSP to join them in working with children and adults with developmental trauma. You will work alongside them using your skills and experience to really make a difference.
Preparation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans and Development of Interventions
If you have experience in a similar role, or would like to acquire it, talk to them today. If you have done the IABA training for severe and challenging behaviours, you will have the skills to work with their clients and will enjoy the rich variety of the work.
If you wish to hone your skills and knowledge of trauma and the comprehensive functional analysis of the behaviours that result from trauma you would be in the right place to develop further knowledge and skills from a team of practitioners who know comprehensive assessment and formulation really well.
Training and Support for Dedicated Therapy Assistants
To implement the BSP you will have a small team of therapy assistants to work with you to maximise the change and support families with interventions at home.
You will have the chance to work in well-equipped practice rooms, with support to travel to provide assessments and work in small communities whilst having a whole team behind you.
- Training (IABA preferred) and Experience to a high level in Functional Behavioural Assessment
- Experience in development of comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans and Implementation of Training
- Driver's License, and the right to work in Australia
- Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area
- Post graduate qualifications
- Registration with AHPRA
