Southern Tas Podiatry Clinic has an exciting new opportunity for a passionate, friendly podiatrist to join their well-established team in the stunning Huon Valley. Just a scenic 30 minute drive from Hobart, here is your chance to escape the hustle of the city!

The Position

This position will be flexible to suit your needs and allow you to have a good work life balance. Starting with 1-3 days and your choice of building up to full-time as patient numbers continue to grow. The number of hours you want to work and when you work them will be negotiable. You also have the option to work in various locations including Bruny Island and local aged care facilities if that interests you.

Southern Tas Poditry offer full support staff and aim for a friendly and fun environment. Their clients are their top priority and the business is a big part of the local community, looking after and treating entire family groups as well as the many visitors to this beautiful state. They are a happy and fun group and this flows into the client’s experience, allowing clients to become part of their treatment community.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in podiatry
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and be a team player
  • A passion for making a difference
  • Current AHPRA registration (or in the process if newly graduated)
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Current First aid, CPR and anaphylaxis training
  • Own vehicle and current driver's license
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia

The Organisation

Southern Tas Podiatry have been operating in the Huon Valley since 2016 and have established themselves as a leading allied health provider in the area. Their 2 room clinic is fully fit out with all that you need to provide services, including podiatry chairs, ergonomically set up rooms, dry needling, orthotics and they offer retail footwear, making them a one-stop shop!

They see a large range of podiatry conditions, ranging from general podiatry footcare, diabetes, and neurovascular assessments, biomechanical, paediatrics and nail surgery. The right candidate will have the opportunity to choose their own direction for the development of their podiatry career and where they would like to take it as well as the option to specialise in areas of interest.
