Physiotherapist - Resolve Physiotherapy (Devonport)
Location: North West Tasmania
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent
Join the friendly team at a growing physiotherapy practice in Devonport and have time to explore the beautiful state of Tasmania. HR+ has a $5000 relocation grant and up to $10,000 through the Health Workforce Scholarship Program for eligible candidates.
Resolve Physiotherapy is a well-established, multi-disciplinary private practice that has been operating for nearly four years in Devonport. They are very excited to be able to invite a new physiotherapist to join their team.
This position is for a full-time physiotherapist and the clinic is typically open on weekdays only but the hours are flexible.
Duties for this role include:
- Providing high quality and professional assessment and treatment for clients, including in-clinic consultations, off-site appointments and home visits.
- Creating and managing treatment plans
- Recording medical information accurately for each consultation
- Communicating and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes allied health providers, GPs and other health providers
There is an existing patient and referral base for this position. You should also be comfortable treating a variety of clients and taking on a full caseload.
At Resolve Physiotherapy, they trust that you will expand your role over time by developing special interests and pursuing professional development opportunities that arise. They believe that they all have something to learn from each other. So, you should be willing to share your expertise with other practitioners and learn and receive feedback from others in the team.
At Resolve Physiotherapy, they work hard to maintain a client-focused approach to treatment and understand that not all people are the same and treat each one according to their individual needs. They keep their prices affordable so that people who need physiotherapy can access it. They also offer longer appointment times than their competitors as they strongly believe that this gives a better treatment outcome and makes it easier for their practitioners to meet their client’s needs.
Resolve Physiotherapy also understand that staff are vital to the daily operation of the practice and offer great flexibility and autonomy to all of their employees.
What's on offer?
If you are a new or recent graduate, you can be sure that you will receive excellent support as you begin your career as a physiotherapist. You will be given one-to-one mentoring from a senior physiotherapist and reassurance and guidance to assist with your clients’ treatment and to boost your confidence in your abilities as a physiotherapist. They will negotiate a competitive hourly wage with the option of moving to a commission-based model down the track.
For more experienced applicants, they are happy to offer a commission-based salary model from the start.
In addition to this, there is a $5,000 relocation grant available through HR+ to eligible applicants. If you need to relocate for this position, Resolve Physiotherapy will be happy to help you to find suitable accommodation and transport in the Devonport area.
HR+ also has the Health Workforce Scholarship Program to access up to $10,000 of funding per year to allow practitioners to attend professional development courses all around Australia.
