The Position
As a Physiotherapist at Physiotas, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, each with a wide range of interests and specialties. This diverse environment allows you to develop your own clinical interests and find your niche within the team.
Physiotas offers a highly sought-after two-year Graduate Program designed to support your early career with structured training and professional development. Throughout the program, you’ll benefit from regular mentoring and training sessions led by senior staff across various specialty areas. This accelerated development pathway ensures you’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to become an effective clinician.
What You’ll Need:
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in physiotherapy
- Registration: General registration with AHPRA (or in process)
- Personal Traits: Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attributes: Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment: A dedication to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
The Organisation

years of service, Physiotas has grown into Tasmania’s largest physiotherapy
practice, with seven clinics across the north of Tasmania. The practice works
closely with local hospitals, workplaces, aged care facilities, and private
health funds to provide high-quality care to the community.
Physiotas takes pride in its
extensive New Graduate Program, offering weekly professional development with
senior clinicians to fast-track your growth. The focus at Physiotas is not on
patient numbers but on providing quality care and supporting clinician
development. Known for their commitment to ongoing professional development,
Physiotas also offers regular in-house training by both internal and external
presenters.
