Psychology CAFFE is seeking a psychologist or mental health occupational therapist with experience working with complex presentations, who enjoys making a long term difference to clients. Psychology CAFFE has a very cohesive team of 15 clinicians, many work closely together with families, and other services, including CAMHS and ACMHS. One of their psychologists from their graduate programme has moved into adult community health after five years with them and so they have a niche opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex presentations. AOPE and/or capacity to provide PBS will give you an advantage if you think this role is for you.
Whilst Psychology CAFFE can offer employment full time or flexibility for the right candidate, they do have a mixed model, and will consider contracting for this position. It is all about the right fit for you and for them. We expect you will be based in Ulverstone, and will travel to Burnie, living between these locations will place you on the most beautiful coastline of Australia.
To apply for the role you will need full registration with AHPRA as either a psychologist or a mental health occupational therapist, and eligibility for a provider number.
Skills and experience:
- Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) as a psychologist or mental health accredited occupational therapist is essential
- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with complex mental health presentations across the lifespan
- PBA approved supervisor status will be highly regarded
- Family Therapy Training or PBS proficient status an advantage
