The Link Youth Health Service (‘The Link’) supports young people within Hobart and Southern Tasmania by providing a range of free and confidential health and wellbeing services for young people aged 12-25.
The Link currently has multiple full time, part time and private practitioner opportunities available and is seeking experienced and qualified staff to assist with their ongoing growth and service delivery.
The Link are looking for passionate allied health professionals to contribute to a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team while providing evidence-based, early intervention to young people.
They are open to expressions of interest from suitability experienced allied/mental health professionals including:
- Psychologists (provisional, registered, clinical)
- Mental health nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Social workers
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers
The Link is a unique not-for-profit organisation and that facilitates various youth mental health services including the headspace Hobart program, throughout Southern Tasmania. Their services are free and make a real difference in the lives of 12-25 year olds in the region.
The Link provides high quality primary and clinical health services as well as information, advice and referral services. They work across the health sector in developing innovative and responsive models of service. They also assist in delivering training and support to other professionals and the wider community.
They strive to excel in the delivery of evidence-based, primary and clinical health services to young people by strengthening partnerships with government, private and community sectors and engaging service users and the community.
