As the headspace Hobart Centre Manager, you will work under the direction of the CEO of The Youth Health Service Inc (The Link) who is the Lead Agency for headspace Hobart.
headspace Hobart has an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager to join the team! The position is full-time (76 hours per fortnight) working Monday to Friday. Part time applications will be considered for the right person.
The Centre Manager will be responsible for:
- overseeing and managing the operations, and the future growth of the headspace Centre
- delivering quality evidence-based, short and medium term, alcohol and other drugs, psychological and other appropriate health and welfare-based interventions to young people aged 12-25 years.
- providing clinical oversight, in combination with the Clinical Leads, to multiple teams/programs delivering the organisation’s services throughout Southern Tasmania, and Tasmania where applicable
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable clinician who will facilitate excellence in integrated, holistic health care, with the goal of improving outcomes for clients of The Link, headspace and the wider community.

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health) , alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.
The Link is a unique not-for-profit organisation and that facilitates various youth mental health services including the headspace Hobart program, throughout Southern Tasmania. Their services are free and have been making a real difference in the lives of 12–25 year old’s in the region since 1990.
The Link provides high quality primary and clinical health services as well as information, advice and referral services.
