Location: Northern Tasmania       Occupation: Nursing and Midwifery       Position Type: Part Time      

Family Doctor Service is looking for a permanent part time registered or enrolled nurse with an ASAP start date. Self-motivated team player with experience in hospital or general practice looked upon favourably.

The Position

This general practice will be looking for an enrolled or registered nurse to work initially 2 days a week - with a view to increase days if the need is there. Daily requirements would be around general practice duties including wound care and dressings with some variety in completing health assessments when you feel confident.

Key Requirements:

  • Pleasant outgoing personality
  • Highly developed verbal communication and written skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Current drivers licence
  • Self-motivated\team player

Qualifications

  • AHPRA registration
  • Training and experience considered applicable/relevant to the Practice

Family Doctor Service is situated in Kings Meadows and is a busy 5 doctor general practice, We house a friendly working environment that encourages personal and professional growth within a supportive team and network.

What's on offer?

Nurse award available and level of pay based on relevant experience, ongoing mentoring and training available, regular education sessions with medicine insight and visiting professionals at monthly clinical meetings and medical representatives once a week. Hours are 9.00am-5.00pm, 2 days a week.
