Are you a dedicated nurse looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on your community? Look no further! Bass House Surgery is seeking two experienced part-time Practice Nurses to join their dynamic team in beautiful Burnie.
The Position

This position presents an excellent opportunity to work part-time 2-3 days per week, with the potential for increased hours based on patient needs and leave coverage.
As a Practice Nurse at Bass House Surgery, you'll perform a variety of duties including: INR and BSL tests, ECGs, triage, dressings, spirometry, health assessments, ear syringing, medicals, stock management, room upkeep, assistance with Implanon and Mirena insertions, immunisations, iron infusions, recalls, and supporting GPs with various medical procedures.

Bass House Surgery is a well-established, patient-centred family practice committed to delivering high-quality care to their community. They take pride in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, where the contributions of each team member are both valued and respected. Bass House Surgery is proud to maintain a dedicated and long-standing team consisting of seven GPs, three nurses, and four reception staff. As a dedicated teaching practice, they also host GP registrars. The team all get along well, they have a good lot of patients, and they consider themselves to be a “good old-fashioned family general practice.”
