headspace Launceston is seeking an innovative and strategic leader to shape the growth of this nationally recognised organisation. Opportunities don't come up like this very often so if you have a passion for youth mental health and the teams that provide that service then you must read on!

The Position

The headspace Manager will lead the operations and the future growth and development of headspace. The Launceston headspace Manager will be a highly motivated and capable person who will facilitate the goal of improving outcomes for clients of the service and the wider community.

The role is based in the Launceston office with some intrastate and interstate travel a requirement. The successful applicant must hold a degree in allied health, behavioural/social sciences, mental health nursing, or a related discipline with eligibility for relevant professional membership.

Applicants without appropriate qualifications and eligibility for registration with the relevant professional bodies will not be considered.

The Organisation

headspace Centres act as a one stop-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs or work and study support. No two headspace centres are the same, with each offering unique services that reflect the needs of its local community.

headspace is delivered in Launceston by Cornerstone Youth Services.

Cornerstone Youth Services Inc. (CYS) delivers a broad range of services to our community of young people aged 12 to 25 in North and North-West Tasmania. CYS focus on health promotion, prevention, education, early intervention and developing help-seeking behaviours.
