Richmond Medical Centre is a privately owned and operated GP practice seeking one full- time GP, but would welcome expressions of interest from part-time applicants also. A GP with vocational recognition is essential to provide support to students and registrars.
The practice utilises the after hours triage service GP Assist, so out-of-hours calls are minimal. GPs are required to participate in the Saturday morning clinic roster.
Bulk billing is offered to pensioners, veterans and children less than 16 years of age, while a co-payment is charged to other patients, ensuring an attractive remuneration for GPs.
The practice provides plenty of space for medical and reception staff, with five well equipped consulting rooms, an emergency room and treatment and nurses’ rooms.
Four part-time GPs currently work in the practice, with a number of allied health professionals providing a visiting service to the practice.
The practice is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and there is a morning clinic on Saturdays.
The practice hopes to become an accredited teaching practice in the future in order to host medical students and GP registrars. The practice is fully computerised and has a full complement of modern equipment.
What's on offer?
The practice is offering a competitive remuneration package based on a percentage of earnings and welcome discussions with potential candidates.
In conjunction with the practice, HR+ will organise a comprehensive orientation program on arrival.
Vocationally registered general practitioners are invited to apply for a HR+ relocation grant.
