Devonport GP Superclinic is seeking the services of one full-time GP. The GP will be required to participate in the afterhours roster as well as visit patients in the local aged care facilities. The practice utilises the afterhours triage service of GP Assist to minimise out-of-hours calls and also shares a weekend roster with a nearby practice. Doctors are required to work on-call for one day in every two weeks and for one weekend day every eight weeks.
Devonport GP Superclinic is located over two sites; both situated on the fringe of the CBD.
The main site is on two floors and has a total of twenty-seven consultation rooms, two nurse treatment rooms and two procedure rooms. The consulting hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 6.30pm and Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. The branch practice has four consultation rooms and a nurse treatment area. The consulting hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm and Saturday from 9.00am to 11.30am.
Devonport GP Superclinic is a privately owned and operated group practice that offers allied health and general practice services under the one roof. The practice is an accredited teaching practice and accepts GP registrars and medical students. The practice offers a mixture of bulk and private billing.
Eleven doctors currently work across the two sites of the practice and are they are ably assisted by nine nurses, including two chronic disease management nurses. A number of allied health professionals provide a visiting service to the practice.
