Physiotas has an exciting new opportunity available in their Launceston office for an experienced or graduate exercise physiologist to join their team.
This role is open to both new and experienced Exercise Physiologists and you will be supported by the experienced team. The level of support will be tailored to your individual needs. Physiotas offer a structured mentoring program as well as staff professional development.
Your primary role will be to support their patients in both one on one appointments as well as group exercise classes. Some areas of focus for classes are diabetes, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, strength and conditioning.
Being surrounded by a varied team of allied health professionals, with a broad range of interests and specialities means you can develop your own areas of interest and find your own niche in this team.

Physiotas is the largest physiotherapy practice operating in Tasmania. Providing healthcare services in their local community for over 25 years, they now have 6 clinics across the north of Tasmania.
The practice also supports local hospitals, workplaces, aged care facilities and private health funds. Physiotas is also associated with organisations such as the Motor Accident Insurance Board, NDIS, AFL Tasmania, Tennis Australia, the Tasmanian Institute of Sport and Basketball Tasmania.
Physiotas have a large but supportive team of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Myotherapists and Remedial Masseurs who work together to make sure each staff member achieves their full potential and provides the best possible care for their patients.
They are known for their support of ongoing professional development for their staff and take pride in their extensive new graduate program in a private practice setting. They have regular in house training with the use of both internal and external presenters.
