Please contact our practice support project manager should you wish to receive further information on any of the following:

The practice manager email network

The email network is a great way for Tasmanian practice managers to learn from, and share information with, their peers. Members subscribe at no cost and are able to communicate within the email network about issues related to practice management.

Practice manager orientation program

This program has been compiled with the new practice manager in mind.  However, it can also be used by experienced practice managers who may wish to self-audit their current processes.

Professional development events

HR+ holds professional development events throughout the year in various parts of the state.  Please see our Events page for more information on events.

Workshops and networking opportunities

HR+ facilitates network forums throughout the year.  Please feel free to contact our practice support consultants with regards to joining the practice manager network.  The forums and workshop invitations will be sent out via the email network.  Please see the Events page for dates and locations.

Provide mentoring and coaching to practice managers

Mentoring is a powerful personal development and empowerment tool that is an effective way to encourage and support practice managers to develop their skills and maximise their potential.  Our practice support consultants can provide the mentee with an opportunity to discuss experiences, explore new ideas in confidence and discuss potential solutions to problems.  Relationships built through mentoring and coaching are based on mutual trust and respect.
