The Local Pain Educator (LPE) program is a community-based health promotion initiative with a focus on local capacity building. The aim of the program is to raise awareness of pain neurobiology and application of pain education to a biopsychosocial pain model of care. Applications are currently open for Tasmanian Health Professionals to apply for the LPE.
View the LPE Information Booklet and EOI form, or visit the website - www.painrevolution.org/local-pain-educator-program.
For any questions about the LPE Program please contact Project Manager Angie Clerc-Hawke at Angie.Clerc-Hawke@unisa.edu.au.
Tasmanian health professionals may also be eligible for a scholarship under the Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP), which will cover the cost of the LPE course. For information regarding eligibility for the HWSP, click here.
