Samantha Smorgon is the Program Manager, Standards for general practices at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her experience in supporting quality and safety in general practice expands over 15 years, with experience throughout the days of the Divisions of General Practice, Medicare Locals and Primary Health Networks. This support has covered the broad range of services and systems within the general practice setting – accreditation, data and eHealth, practice management and primary health care nursing, quality improvement, immunisation, chronic disease management, aboriginal health, older adults, continuing professional development, plus much more.
