What is the Future Workforce Program?

The HR+ Future Workforce Program exists to encourage medicine, nursing and allied health students to consider a career within Tasmanian rural areas. The program provides students with access to non-clinical resources, workshops and contacts throughout their years of study at the University of Tasmania and during hospital rotations.

The HR+ Future Workforce Program is a great opportunity for UTAS students with a rural interest to explore exciting career opportunities in rural Tasmania. It also allows HR+ to connect with students early on in their studies to identify their career intentions and aspirations, and to provide the necessary support and resources to those students pursuing a career in a rural location.
